THE MOST TRUSTED TECHNOLOGIES IN PROFESSIONAL GOLF.

Bushnell pioneered the golf laser rangefinder, and we´ve developed every technological break-through ever since. In this section, you´ll learn about our targeting modes: PinSeeker® with JOLT Technology senses and locks to the flagstick, ignoring background clutter. Slope Mode measures slope and compensates range based on trajectory. We´ll also introduce you to our patented Rainguard® HD water-repellent lens coating. Lastly, we explain how laser rangefinders work, the various LCD features, and discuss how target reflectivity varies by target type. With the technologies that go into our laser rangefinders, it´s no wonder Bushnell is the brand of choice for PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour Pros.
  • Exchange Technology lets you use our patented Slope Technology when the red faceplate is installed and functions as a USGA/R&A conforming device when the black faceplate is installed.

  • Slope-Switch technology lets the golfer easily toggle in and out of our patented Slope function. This allows the golfer to conveniently utilize Slope to get compensated distances around the course when they want it and have a USGA conforming device that is legal for tournament play when they need it.

  • Exclusive to the Pro X2. With the simple press of the Mode button, Dual Display Technology allows the user to easily toggle between a bright red vivid display or sharp black display based on lighting conditions or personal preference.

  • PINSEEKER WITH JOLT TECHNOLOGY

PinSeeker with JOLT provides the golfer with short vibrating pulses to give a tactile confirmation that the laser has locked onto the flag. Jolt Technology removes all doubt. Feel the exact distance... feel the JOLT!

  • Bushnell's laser rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 Laser beam (as classified by the FDA) which is "bounced" off distant objects with the press of a button. Then, the rangefinder's high-speed digital clock measures the time it takes for the laser beam to reach a target and return to the unit. Next, using advanced digital electronics, the rangefinder instantly calculates the distance within + / – 1 yard/meter and shows the range in either yards or meters on a through-the-lens LCD Display. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button to generate a laser beam to the time the exact range to your target is displayed.

  • E.S.P.2 provides yardage 5x faster and more accurately than ever before. Not only have we increased the acquisition speed to a lightning fast level, E.S.P.2 is so accurate that from 5-125 yards / 5-115 meters, the distance is displayed to 1/10th of a yard/meter. Whatever your skill level, Bushnell gives you the most accurate technology in the game - and you will have the confidence of knowing you have the exact distance for every shot you will ever hit.

  • Created specifically for our premium rangefinder, this optical enhancement dramatically improves contrast, clarity and light transmission, while increasing the brightness of didital readout information for rapid, positive identification in all light conditions. It is simply the best of heads-up projection diplays.

  • A. Targeting Mode

    B. Meters/Yards - You can quickly choose between these standard measuring units with a simple press of a button.

    C. Reticle - The distance to objects targeted in these crosshairs will be displayed on the Distance Readout with the press of a button.

    D. Battery Indictor Flashes when battery power is low.

    E. Slope information

  • Because rangefinders "bounce" a laser beam off the target in order to take a measurement, their range is partially determined by the reflectivity of the target. In other words, hard or "reflective" targets - like a rock cliff or semi-truck - can be measured at greater distances than soft surface targets. Ranges for moderately reflective targets, and trees, fall somewhere in the middle. Smaller targets, like flags, have been very difficult to target until now - thanks to PinSeeker® Technology.

  • Designed exclusively with the bottom of the cup in mind, this mode allows easy acquisition of the flag without inadvertently capturing background target distances. When more than one object is acquired, the closer of the two objects is shown on the LCD display.

  • PinSeeker with JOLT provides the golfer with short vibrating pulses to give a tactile confirmation that the laser has locked onto the flag. Jolt Technology removes all doubt. Feel the exact distance... feel the JOLT!

  • Measures slope, +/- one degree of angle, and compensated range, based upon ball trajectory and type of club used. All shown on an LCD display.

  • This feature compensates for precipitation to guarantee an accurate distance measurement through rain or snow.

  • Rainguard® HD is a patented, permanent, hydrophobic, oleophobic lens coating that causes moisture from rain, snow, sleet and your breath to instantly bead-up into smaller droplets and scatter. These tiny droplets divert dramatically less light and keep your view bright and clear when an untreated lens would be rendered useless.

To create the ultimate optics, we knew we had to develop a solution to the fogged lens. We perfected this technology, and you'll only find it on select Bushnell® optics. Conversely, you will find a few imitators, some that require periodic reapplication. They work sometimes, or not at all. Absolute surety at the moment of truth is what Rainguard® HD is all about. Without it, you're not ready.

  • Re-engineered circuitry to maximize battery life, PowerBoost provides 35% more acquisitions. (models 205107 & 205108)

  • Some laser rangefinders are O-ring sealed for total waterproof protection. These models can withstand complete immersion in water and stay dry inside.
